In 2010, Minesh Patel, along with Richard Field, co-founded North Shore Pain Management. A Board Certified physician in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management, Dr. Patel is a recognized expert in the treatment of chronic pain, and an experienced leader in the establishment of clinical care settings that address the diverse and specific therapeutic needs of patients with chronic pain. Dr. Patel is delighted to work with the referring practitioners to formulate treatment plans that balance traditional treatment (including physical therapy, behavior changes and medication) with the most advanced interventional techniques now available.

Dr. Patel joins North Shore Pain Management after serving as a Partner with Anesthesia Associates of Massachusetts (AAM), which is among the largest anesthesiology practices in New England. Dr. Patel established and served as Director of the Pain Center at both Mt. Auburn Hospital and Morton Hospital, and regularly provided pain management services across New England at New England Baptist Hospital, Faulkner Hospital, North Shore Medical Center, and Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Patel received his fellowship training in Pain Management at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Harvard Medical School) and his Anesthesiology training at Boston Medical Center (Boston University School of Medicine). He is a proud member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Massachusetts Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.
