Dr. Mitchell Bosman is a highly skilled Chronic and Interventional Pain Anesthesiologist currently practicing full-time at North Shore Pain Management in Beverly, MA. With a strong commitment to patient care and a focus on utilizing interventional therapies to minimize opioid use and restore functionality, Dr. Bosman brings a wealth of expertise to his field.
Dr. Bosman began his medical journey at New York Medical College, where he earned his medical degree. He then completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Anesthesiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. It was during his residency that Dr. Bosman developed a keen interest in pain management and the application of regional techniques to minimize opioid requirements.
Driven by his passion for helping patients find relief from chronic pain, Dr. Bosman pursued a fellowship in Pain Management at Rush University Medical Center. This specialized training provided him with in-depth knowledge and advanced skills in interventional pain therapies. During his fellowship, he gained experience in utilizing various techniques to target and treat the underlying causes of pain, with a focus on restoring functionality and improving patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Bosman is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine, reflecting his expertise and dedication to providing high-quality care. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. These affiliations allow him to stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in pain medicine and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient outcomes.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bosman has a strong interest in minimizing opioid use both intra-operatively and post-operatively. He employs a multidisciplinary approach, combining interventional therapies and regional techniques to reduce opioid requirements and improve surgical outcomes.
