Epidural Lysis of Adhesions with Catheter Placement

Also called Racz procedure, this procedure is performed to remove excessive scarring in the epidural space.

Facet Block

An injection of local anesthetic (numbing medicine) and steroid medication into a joint in the spine.

Intercostal Nerve Block (INB)

An injection of local anesthetic (numbing medication) sometimes with a steroid medication, injected just under the rib, where the intercostal nerve lies.

Lumbar Sympathetic Block (LSB)

An injection of local anesthetic (numbing medicine) into or around the sympathetic nerves.

Occipital Nerve Block (ONB)

An injection of local anesthetic medication next to the greater and lesser occipital nerves, which are located just beneath the scalp in the back of the head.

Radio Frequency Lesioning (RFL)

An outpatient procedure using a specialized machine to interrupt nerve conduction on a semi-permanent basis.

Sacroiliac Joint Injection (SI)

The goal of a sacroiliac injection is to provide pain relief by reducing the inflammation at the SI joint.

STELLATE GANGLION BLOCK (SGB)

A sympathetic block in which a local anesthetic (numbing medication) is injected into the bone of the neck for pain located in the head, neck, chest, or arm.

Transforaminal / Epidural Steroid Injection (TFE)/(ESI)

This is an outpatient procedure in which we inject steroid medication into the epidural space.

Trigger Point Injection (TPI)

A trigger point is a tight band of tissue within a muscle, that when pressed upon, causes your typical pain.

KYPHOPLASTY

Procedure in which a device the diameter of a paper hole punch is inserted down into the vertebral body in the spine in order to inject cement to stabilize a vertebral compression fracture.

Medial Branch Blocks

An injection of local anesthetic (numbing medicine) around the small nerve that supplies the spinal facet joint.

Our team is dedicated to the care and treatment of patients in pain. New patients are seen on physician referral only. To help us diagnose and treat, we must have relevant medical records, x-rays, and test reports. We accept most major health insurance plans.
